My beauty, my worth, and my significance are only found in Jesus Christ. I wasn’t saved by grace because I had my act together. He created me exactly the way that I am, and He didn’t make a mistake. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. It all boils down to what Jesus did on the cross and how he loves me.
GOD CHOSE THE FOOLISH THINGS OF THE WORLD TO SHAME THE WISE, GOD CHOSE THE WEAK THINGS OF THE WORLD TO SHAME THE STRONG. HE CHOSE THE LOWLY THINGS OF THIS WORLD AND THE DESPISED THINGS- AND THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT- TO NULLIFY THE THINGS THAT ARE SO THAT NO ONE MAY BOAST BEFORE HIM.’ // 1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-28
For it is in my brokenness and weakness where my true identity is found. It’s not about me and what I can do, but Christ’s redemptive work in my life when He died on the cross for my sins.
I AM SECURE.
I AM LOVED.
I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.
I AM BLESSED.
I AM FREE.
I AM MADE WHOLE.
I AM SAVED BY GRACE.
Truths to combat the lies that I am not enough. Declarations from God’s word to drown out the doubt. Exclamation points replacing question marks.
Grace-filled words washing over my parched heart.
Love notes from my Heavenly Father.
